Shamrock Shuffle and Leprechaun Chase goes on despite the weather
Despite a little rain in the forecast, members of the community ran, walked, shuffled, or chased their way to the 5th Annual St. Patrick School Shamrock Shuffle 5K Run/ Walk and 1K Leprechaun Chase this Saturday.
The race kicked off at 9 a.m. at Cassidy’s and was the beginning of the St. Patrick’s Day Festival Downtown
Children 8 and under put on their best running shoes and chasing a Leprechaun to his pot of gold for a prize, and racers were treated to music, refreshments, a costume contest, prizes, and there were even a limited amount of VIP experiences available.
Besides being a blast, the race was actually a fundraiser for St. Patricks School.
