Leicester attacker Maddison: No problem returning to England U21s

Leicester City attacker James Maddison insists he has no problem dropping back to the England U21s.

Maddison has dropped back after failing to make Gareth Southgate's latest squad having been called up when he was last fit and available in October.

But rather than sulk, the midfielder said: “I'm representing my country. I'm happy to do that at any level.

“It's good, I learned a lot with the seniors and coming down and sharing the experience and knowing what it's like and how they train.

“I could come down as an even more experienced player and help the lads. I'm one of the older players in the group, it was good experience for me."
